wordpress - Media Queries on WP Site Loaded to Page, but Not Working -
i’m working on wordpress theme , can’t media query work, despite fact being loaded page, path right, , order correct.
i figured enqueue, when view generated source code, this:
<link rel='stylesheet' id='rfn-css' href='http://localhost:8888/wp-content/themes/rfn/style.css?ver=1.0.0' type='text/css' media='all' /> <link rel='stylesheet' id='medium_large_down-css href='http://localhost:8888/wp-content/themes/rfn/mediumlarge.css' type='text/css' media='screen , (max-width: 1200px)' />
so 1 media query comes in after main style, , link correct, , there content in .css file should override main style screens 1200 , under.
however, not loading in.
and know it’s not result of specificity or other style overruling it. normally, dev tools in browser show me when happens crossing out items, in other example here:
on site working on now, it’s second style sheet isn’t there… despite fact listed in code link.
of note, when remove media query part specifies screen , (max-width: 1200px), works , styles read. (at screen sizes, of course, not desirable.)
if matters, process of adding style sheet page follows:
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'rfn_equeue_styles' ); function rfn_equeue_styles() { wp_register_style( 'medium_large_down', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/mediumlarge.css',null,null,'screen , (max-width: 1200px)' ); wp_enqueue_style( 'medium_large_down' ); } any suggestions? there reason why shouldn’t working on localhost server running mamp (which am)?
