Create an ASP.NET MVC app with auth and SQL DB and deploy to Azure App Service -

i trying perform steps given on below link

create asp.net mvc app auth , sql db , deploy azure app service

while doing lost on step #11. says

select create new server, enter server name, user name, , password. server name must unique. can contain lower-case letters, numeric digits, , hyphens. cannot contain trailing hyphen. user name , password new credentials you're creating new server. if have database server, can select instead of creating one. database servers precious resource, , want create multiple databases on same server testing , development rather creating database server per database. however, tutorial need server temporarily, , creating server in same resource group web site make easy delete both web app , database resources deleting resource group when you're done tutorial. if select existing database server, make sure web app , database in same region.

i not sure how popup open up. tried steps multiple time don't know "create new server" button/link. link not available on previous step(step #10).

i using vs 2013 update 5.

got reply same post steps given in documents 2 different sdk , mine latest 1 , has changes. working on updating document.

the app service tools updated , article in process of being updated. if you're on azure sdk 2.8.1 or higher, can create new sql server , database via services tab in new experience. document mixing screenshots 2 different sdk versions, , we're working rick anderson [riande@msft] article updated reflects experience in post-sdk 2.8.1 ui. apologies confusion here.

gridview - Yii2 DataPorivider $totalSum for a column -

Sass watch command compiles .scss files before full sftp upload -

i use winscp download , edit .scss files , sass on linux (on server) compile them .css . after saving file, use: sass scss/style.scss css/style.css , replaces css file compiled sccs. the problem i want skip part return command line after editing scss file, sake of automation , saving time. but, if use watch command: sass --watch scss/style.scss:css/style.css synchronize 2 files, alerts nonexistent css errors pop up: change detected to: scss/style.scss error scss/style.scss (line 232: invalid css after "...ht: bold; line-": expected "{", "") note that when file uploads quicker usual (sometimes happens) watch command job, no errors. this because, when file upload takes time, sass compiles scss file (on server) before uploaded remote folder. thus, compiles part of file, resulting in css errors. is there way set timer watch command waits few seconds after detects changes , before compiling? any other way overcome is, of course, ...
